Inclusion Goes Local

“Inclusion goes local” is an inclusion and diversity colleague support group meeting organised in partnership with SALTO Inclusion & Diversity Resource Centre, Europe Goes Local Programme and Portuguese National Agency for the Erasmus+ Youth in Action programme. The meeting gathered NA inclusion officers and representatives of municipalities involved in youth work on municipality level. Municipality representatives and NA officers came in tandems.

Goals and objectives:

• Explore EU youth policy and programmes (like ID Strategy and European charter on local youth work) as tools that promote inclusion in municipal level youth work
• Identify the challenges and opportunities for NAs and municipalities in bringing the programmes to a local level in order to foster inclusion
• Get inspired by good practice projects and exchange ideas and learn from each other
• Explore how municipalities and NAs can cooperate and what is their role in creating better inclusive international youth mobilities
