Who is Barnabás?
I consider myself a youth worker but not working directly and regularly with young people, which I am a bit sad about. However, I believe my mission is important because I want to contribute towards improving the conditions of youth work itself. This means that I try to take part in initiatives that aim to develop youth work in many aspects: its recognition, competences of youth workers, youth participation etc.
In private life, I am one of the most stubborn people, though I am also open to hear and listen so I guess it’s a better combination.
I am passionate about nature and water in any form. I can’t imagine my life living in a plain without any hills or mountains. Swimming is my sport. As a Hungarian, it usually happens that I chill in thermal water instead of really swimming. I am kind of omnivorous when it comes to music, probably death metal is the only exception. I am very much into Russian literature, from Tolstoy to Ulitskaya.
